Founded in 2020 by an amazing group of entrepreneurs, Bridge Latam is an early-stage Venture Capital firm founded by the best entrepreneurs in Latin America with the mission of creating the perfect bridge to support new entrepreneurs to boost their startups. You will be part of a small group, completely dynamic and with an entrepreneurial mindset.
The Bridge Latam VC Fellowship offers MBA students hands-on experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship. Our inaugural cohort will feature two distinct tracks. The first track will concentrate entirely on supporting our portfolio companies, while the second track will encompass deal analysis.
Introduction and Onboarding
- Orientation:
- Overview of Bridge Latam’s mission
- Introduction to the team, organizational structure, and key stakeholders.
- Training Sessions:
- Basics of Venture Capital.
- Overview of the Latam tech ecosystem.
Portfolio Management Track
- Portfolio Review:
- Deep dive into Bridge Latam’s existing portfolio companies.
- Understanding key performance metrics and KPIs.
- Strategy Sessions:
- Participating in strategy sessions with portfolio companies.
- Learning about the challenges faced by startups and how VCs support them.
- Performance Tracking:
- Developing dashboards for tracking portfolio performance.
- Analyzing financial statements and growth metrics.
- Hands-On Consulting:
- Working closely with some portfolio companies to identify key challenges.
- Providing strategic recommendations and implementation support.
- Developing growth and scaling strategies tailored to the company’s needs.
- Operational Support:
- Assisting portfolio companies with operational challenges.
- Connecting companies with potential partners, clients, and advisors.
Deal Analysis Track
- Deal Sourcing:
- Learning about the deal sourcing process.
- Attending pitch meetings and startup demo days.
- Due Diligence:
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Financial modeling and valuation exercises.
- Assessing startup teams and business models.
- Investment Memo Preparation:
- Preparing investment memos for potential deals.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to the investment committee.
